Best Way To Spot Cancers Early

One of the worst possible and dreaded diseases that you could ever contract is Cancer. It kills almost as many people every year as heart disease. What’s sad to know though is that if detected early, most of these cancers could be cured.

The symptoms of cancer are not always easily detected, but if you are paying close attention to your body then you can know the signs of cancer.

We’ll be looking at the best ways to spot cancer early and hope that they will help you save lives someday. Maybe even your own.

Early Cancer Symptoms and Signs

1. Abnormal Bleeding

If you notice any abnormal bleeding then maybe you should consult your doctor. As the cancer cells grow, they tend to disrupt the growth of other cells.

This could cause bleeding in your lungs due to scar tissue, or even other parts of your body. If you have any sort of bleeding like in your cough, urine, rectum, you should get in touch with a doctor to check for further signs of cancer.

2. Sudden Weightloss

While you may think that losing weight at any age would be ideal, sudden unexplained weight loss could be a bad sign. It could mean that your body is not absorbing nutrients like it needs to and it consuming more energy than it needs to, to keep you healthy.

If you wake up a few weeks a few pounds lighter without any exercise, you should be very worried. Even if it is not cancer it could be a sign from your body saying something is wrong.

3. Lumps

Contrary to popular belief breast cancer doesn’t only happen to women. Men can also get breast cancer. You should be suspicious of any lumps or swelling in any part of your body. If you have an unexplained lump, get a checkup done and find out what it is.

4. Fatigue

If you feel tired after a long night well rested sleep and find it difficult to get through the day without feeling tired your body might be giving you some signs.

You could have cancer or some other terrible disease and the body is using all its energy in fending off the attack from the viruses.

5. A persistent Cough

Coughs are not restricted to smokers. If you have a cough that does not seem to go away and stay with you even after a few weeks, you should have a doctor look into it. It could just be an irritant causing the problem, but better to know whats wrong then to wonder.

6. Indigestion, Heartburn, Or Difficulty Swallowing

It’s understandable to have heartburn and indigestion when you’ve had something acidic and spicy. If you wake up every day with heartburn and indigestion then maybe your stomach acids are facing difficulty in doing their jobs.

Even if you have a sore throat for a long time and have difficulty swallowing that does not heal it could be an early sign of cancer.

Our bodies are usually very clever at giving us signals to say something is wrong. We just need to recognize them for what they are. Even for minor ailments like the cold and flu, we get tired, our body temperature increases, all as a way of our body telling us to slow down.

The latest cancer detection tests have become very advanced and in case you are worried about a problem then the best thing is to go get a thorough test done to rule out the possibility of cancer.

Hopefully, if you see these signs of cancer in your friends or family members you can ask them to get a consultation done. You never know when you may be able to save someone’s life.
